Patient Support Emotional support
They may not say it, but your friends and family may be impacted by your HF condition as well. So it’s important to understand how they are feeling as they continue to help you.
You and your caregivers spend plenty of time talking about appointments, medicine refills, and other things related to HF. But open and honest talk about your lives and your feelings is just as important.
For example, it’s very common for a caregiver to feel overwhelmed. They want to provide you with the care that you need, but they also have people and responsibilities in their own life that need attention. Honest conversations about your lives will help your friends and family give you the care you need, but without putting too much of a toll on their own lives.

Make time for “me” time. Both you and your caregiver should do at least one activity you enjoy each day
Play a brain game. Work together on a fun activity, such as a word puzzle
